SGS Berkeley Green UTC South Gloucestershire

Berkeley Green UTC is a University Technical College in South Gloucestershire, England. 1 of 60 University Technical college's already open nationally. Springfield were on board at the Design stage, successfully saw the project, and its unique requirements, through to completion. The college opened in September 2017.

UTCs offer a very particular curriculum, that combines a solid academic education, with a technical and practical one.
This is a College that requires a wide range of teaching spaces and learning areas for Technical and study, Springfield took the opportunity to design and adapt the FF&E to suit this criteria.
To mention a few this included; Multiple Science labs with Trespa worksurfaces and built in storage facilities, various breakout spaces each with their own unique learning style to create comfortable and innovative recreational areas for the students, and bespoke workbenches in a number of IT rooms.

Working closely with the client, and carrying out a number of site visits, the project ran smoothly and a stunning end result was achieved!
